- How do you know there is a 1 in 25 chance to win a prize?
The MS Society has received independent confirmation from Data Analysis Australia that with 50,000 tickets and 2,001 prizes in total, there is a 1 in 25 chance of winning a prize - assuming all tickets are sold. If the MS Mega Home Lottery does not sell all 50,000 tickets then your odds of winning a prize improve.
Note: Each ticket purchased before Early Bird ticket sales close is eligible for the Early Bird Prize draw and to win one of the other 2000 prize draws. Tickets purchased after Early Bird ticket sales close are eligible to win one of the other 2000 prizes on offer. - How much is the total prize package worth?
All 2,001 prizes have combined retail value of $2,078,630
- When will the prize draws take place and in what order do they occur?
Early Bird Draw Wednesday 23 May 2012
Only tickets purchased before midnight 10 May are eligible for the Early Bird draw. If all tickets are sold before midnight 10 May, then all draws would begin 23 May. Early Bird prize is drawn first, followed by draws for all remaining prizes in order of retail value beginning with prizes of greatest retail value. The winning ticket number from the Early Bird Prize Draw is returned to the barrel and is also eligible to win one of the remaining 2000 prizes.
Final Draw Wednesday 20 June 2012
If tickets remain after Early Bird ticket sales close, only the Early Bird draw would be made 23 May. Final ticket sales close Midnight 7 June. All remaining draws would begin 20 June. Draws would proceed in order of retail value beginning with the prizes of greatest retail value.
After each draw, the winner is recorded and the ticket number is excluded from all further draws.

- Can tickets win multiple prizes?
In past MS Mega Home Lotteries winning tickets were returned to the barrel and eligible to win multiple prizes. In 2012 the only winning ticket that is returned to the barrel is the Early Bird Prize Winner. The winning ticket from each subsequent draw is excluded from all further prize draws. We believe that this provides greater fairness and allows more people to win prizes in the lottery. This approach is approved by The Department of Racing Gaming and Liquor.
- Where will the prize draws take place?
If the Early Bird and Grand Prize draws are televised, then it is likely the Early Bird draw will be held at the Diesel Motors Showroom in Bentley, and the Grand Prize Show Home draw at 20 Birrigon Loop, Swanbourne. The remaining prize draws will be conducted at the MS Society's office at 29 Parkhill Way, Wilson.
- How will the prize draws be supervised?

- How will I know if I have won a prize in the MS Mega Home Lottery?

Winner of the Early Bird prize will be published at www.mslottery.com.au on 30 May, and all other prize winners will be published at www.mslottery.com.au on 29 June 2012. If the lottery sells all tickets by Early Bird close date, then all prize draws will take place on 23 May and published at www.mslottery.com.au on 30 May.
